The 13.56MHz USB RFID Desktop Reader S9-EU-00-12 is a compact contactless card reader designed for access control enrollment, membership systems, hotel management, POS identification, turnstile systems and other desktop applications. Operating at 13.56 MHz, the reader supports ISO/IEC 14443A compatible contactless cards, including common MIFARE-compatible products, with a typical reading distance of up to approximately 5 cm depending on card type and operating conditions.
The reader connects through USB and supports plug-and-play keyboard-emulation output, allowing card identification data to be entered directly into compatible host applications without requiring a separate data-entry workflow. The standard configuration is intended primarily for card identification and UID reading. SDK, dynamic libraries, example code, demo software and development documentation are available for host-system integration and secondary development. Card-type adaptation, UID output formatting, firmware customization and project-specific integration can also be discussed according to application requirements.
