Product Overview

The 13.56MHz HF RFID Reader Module is a compact embedded contactless card reader designed for access control systems, smart terminals, vending and payment equipment, membership systems, identification devices and other OEM applications. Operating at 13.56 MHz, the standard configuration supports ISO/IEC 14443A compatible cards with a typical reading distance of up to approximately 5 cm, depending on the card, antenna configuration and installation environment. The module operates from a 5V DC power supply and uses TTL communication as the standard host interface for embedded integration.

The module supports common MIFARE-compatible cards including S50, S70, Ultralight, DESFire, Pro, Plus and compatible contactless CPU cards according to project configuration. Read/write SDK, demo programs, communication examples and development resources are available for MCU and host-system integration. For project-specific requirements, Fongwah can provide communication interface adaptation including RS232, RS485 and USB, additional protocol support such as ISO14443B and ISO15693, antenna configuration, module size customization, PSAM integration, firmware adaptation and other OEM integration services.

Typical reading distance is up to approximately 5 cm and depends on card type, antenna configuration, mounting position and surrounding materials. Keep the antenna area away from large metal surfaces and strong electromagnetic interference where possible.

Compatibility
