The Waterproof NFC RFID Epoxy Key Fob is a customizable 13.56MHz RFID identification token designed for access control, membership identification, loyalty systems, events, staff identification, and other short-range contactless applications. Its PVC base with a glossy crystal epoxy resin finish provides a compact, durable and visually customizable format that can be supplied in different shapes, sizes and colors.
The key fob can be configured with selected NXP MIFARE series, NXP NTAG series, or other compatible 13.56MHz RFID/NFC chips according to the reader system and application requirements. Depending on the selected chip, it can be used with compatible access-control readers, NFC devices, membership systems, and other short-range identification platforms. Chip memory, UID format and NFC smartphone compatibility vary by chip option and should be confirmed before production.
Typical reading distance is approximately 1 to 5cm, depending on the selected chip, reader or smartphone antenna, tag orientation, and surrounding environment. The epoxy-coated construction provides IP67 water resistance for everyday use, while custom services include full-color CMYK printing, custom shapes and sizes, laser-engraved serial numbers, barcodes, chip encoding, and optional key rings or strings.
