The MIFARE Classic S50 / S70 Smart Card is a 13.56MHz contactless PVC card designed for access control, employee identification, attendance systems, membership programs, loyalty applications, campus projects, and other closed-loop RFID card systems. The standard 85.6 × 54mm CR80 format supports full-surface printing and common card-personalization options.
The card can be configured with MIFARE Classic S50 (1K), MIFARE Classic S70 (4K), or supported compatible chip alternatives according to the target reader system. S50 provides approximately 1KB of EEPROM, while S70 provides approximately 4KB of EEPROM, allowing the appropriate version to be selected according to the amount of card data and application requirements.
Typical reading distance is approximately 2 to 8cm, depending on the reader antenna, reader output, card orientation, and surrounding environment. Because MIFARE Classic is commonly used in legacy and existing access-control systems, reader compatibility and security requirements should be confirmed before production. For projects requiring stronger modern credential security, a DESFire-based solution may be more suitable. Custom services include CMYK offset printing, metallic silk-screen printing, serial numbering, QR or barcode printing, magnetic stripes, signature panels, slot punching, and card encoding.
