The 13.56MHz MIFARE 1K RFID Key Fob is a durable contactless credential designed for door access control, employee identification, attendance systems, membership applications, and other short-range HF RFID projects. Its compact ABS housing and ultrasonic-welded construction provide a practical everyday format for carrying on a key ring.
Operating at 13.56MHz HF, the key fob can be configured with MIFARE Classic 1K (S50), Fudan F08-compatible, or other supported chip options according to the target reader system. The standard 1K configuration provides approximately 1KB EEPROM organized into 16 sectors, supporting access-control credentials and other applications that require stored card data rather than only a fixed read-only identifier.
Typical reading distance is approximately 1 to 5cm, depending on the reader antenna, reader output, tag orientation, and surrounding materials. Custom services include laser-engraved UID or serial numbers, silk-screen logo printing, multiple housing colors, chip encoding, and optional steel key rings. Reader and smartphone compatibility should be confirmed according to the selected IC before mass production.
