The 70x17mm UHF RFID Inlay is a slim high-sensitivity RFID transponder designed for smart-label converting, asset-identification labels, warehouse applications, logistics packaging, and other projects requiring an RFID inlay to be integrated into a finished label or product. Its compact 70 × 17mm antenna format is available as either a dry inlay or wet inlay for different converting and manufacturing processes.
Operating in the 860-960MHz UHF band under EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO/IEC 18000-6C, the inlay can be configured with the Alien Higgs 9 RFID IC or other supported chip options. The Higgs 9 configuration provides a nominal 96-bit EPC expandable up to 496 bits, up to 688 bits of user memory, and a 48-bit unique TID, making it suitable for projects that require additional encoded asset, production, service, or identification data beyond a standard EPC number.
Typical read distance is approximately 1 to 7 meters after suitable conversion, depending on reader power, antenna configuration, final label construction, mounting material, tag orientation, and the surrounding environment. Because this product is supplied as an RFID inlay rather than a finished protected tag, environmental resistance depends on the final facestock, adhesive, lamination, and conversion process. Custom services include dry or wet inlay supply, custom pitch and roll configuration, chip substitution, and antenna customization for project requirements.
