The 125x7mm UHF RFID Library Book Spine Tag is a narrow self-adhesive UHF RFID label developed for library book identification, circulation management, inventory checking, shelf management, and document tracking. Its slim 125x7mm format allows the tag to be positioned along suitable book surfaces while minimizing interference with normal handling and visual appearance. The construction uses a PET base layer, etched aluminum antenna, self-adhesive backing, and release liner for roll-format labeling and encoding workflows.
Operating in the 860-960MHz UHF band and supporting EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO/IEC 18000-6C systems, the tag can be configured with NXP UCODE 9 or Alien Higgs-10 according to the required EPC and memory configuration. Both options are intended for compatible UHF RFID reader systems and can support bulk identification where multiple tagged books or documents need to be detected efficiently.
Actual read performance depends on the selected chip, reader output power, antenna configuration, tag orientation, book material, shelf density, surrounding objects, and installation position. Longer-range UHF reading is possible with suitable RFID infrastructure, but performance should be validated under the intended library or document-management environment before mass deployment. Custom services include pre-printing, serial numbering, EPC encoding, barcode printing, and customized roll quantities.
