The 15mm PPS HF RFID Laundry Tag is a compact reusable RFID tag designed for industrial laundry, hotel linen management, uniforms, workwear, textile rental, and other washable textile applications where minimum tag size and short-range RFID identification are preferred. Its small 15mm diameter and 2.5mm thickness allow installation in garments and textile items where larger laundry button tags may be difficult to accommodate.
The tag uses an NXP ICODE SLIX2 RFID chip and operates at 13.56MHz HF under the ISO/IEC 15693 air-interface standard. It is intended for compatible HF RFID readers used for item identification, laundry sorting, linen tracking, uniform management, and other closed-loop textile workflows. Unlike the UHF laundry tag versions, this model is designed for short-range HF identification rather than long-range bulk inventory scanning.
Actual read performance depends on reader antenna design, output power, tag orientation, textile density, moisture, sewing position, and the surrounding environment. A reading distance of more than approximately 3cm may be achievable with a suitable HF reader configuration. The PPS housing is intended for demanding laundry environments, while maximum temperature, chemical exposure, sterilization conditions, and wash-cycle durability should be confirmed against the tested product configuration. Custom services include laser-engraved UID or serial numbers, custom laser logos, and optional thread-hole configurations.
