The 22mm PPS RFID Laundry Button Tag is a compact reusable RFID tag designed for industrial laundry, hotel linen management, uniforms, workwear, textile rental, and other washable textile applications where installation space is limited. Its smaller 22mm diameter, rigid PPS housing, and center sewing hole allow secure attachment to garments, linen, textile bags, and other washable items while reducing the physical footprint compared with larger laundry button tags.
This product can be configured with either an NXP UCODE 9 UHF RFID chip or an NXP NTAG213 13.56MHz HF/NFC chip according to the reader system and application requirements. The UCODE 9 version is intended for EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO/IEC 18000-6C UHF systems and supports longer-range bulk identification. The NTAG213 version is intended for ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and NFC Forum Type 2 applications requiring short-range HF/NFC interaction. These are alternative RFID configurations rather than simultaneous dual-frequency operation.
Actual read performance depends on the selected chip, reader type, antenna configuration, tag orientation, surrounding textiles, moisture conditions, and installation environment. The UHF version may achieve read distances of up to approximately 5 meters under suitable conditions, while the HF/NFC version is intended for short-range interaction of approximately 3cm, with smartphone NFC typically operating at closer distances. The PPS housing is intended for demanding laundry applications, but maximum operating temperature, chemical resistance, wash-cycle durability, and sterilization suitability should be confirmed against the tested product configuration. Custom services include laser marking, logo customization, RFID data encoding, and center sewing-hole configuration.
