The 18mm Ultra-Slim PPS RFID Laundry Button Tag is a compact reusable RFID tag designed for industrial laundry, uniforms, workwear, hotel linen, textile rental, and other washable textile applications where tag size and installation thickness need to be minimized. Its small 18mm diameter and ultra-slim 2.2mm profile allow the tag to be integrated into garments and textile items with less physical bulk than larger laundry button tags.
This product can be configured with either an NXP NTAG213 13.56MHz HF/NFC chip or an NXP UCODE 9 UHF RFID chip according to the reader system and application requirements. The NTAG213 version is intended for ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and NFC Forum Type 2 applications requiring short-range HF/NFC interaction. The UCODE 9 version is intended for EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO/IEC 18000-6C UHF systems requiring longer-range identification and compatible bulk-reading workflows. These are alternative RFID configurations rather than simultaneous dual-frequency operation.
Actual read performance depends on the selected chip, reader type, antenna configuration, tag orientation, textile density, moisture, sewing position, and surrounding environment. The UHF version can provide meter-level reading under suitable conditions, while the HF/NFC version is intended for short-range interaction of approximately 3cm. Because this model prioritizes minimum size and thickness, read performance should be verified with the intended textile, reader, and installation method before deployment. The PPS housing is intended for demanding laundry environments, while maximum operating temperature, chemical exposure, wash-cycle durability, and sterilization conditions should be confirmed against the tested product configuration.
