The 10mm Mini HF RFID On-Metal Token Tag is a compact industrial RFID transponder designed for identification of small metal assets where installation space is extremely limited. Its miniature 10mm diameter, rigid PPS housing, and dedicated on-metal structure make it suitable for tools, metal components, instruments, small equipment, production fixtures, and other metallic assets that cannot accommodate larger RFID tags.
The tag uses an NXP ICODE SLIX RFID chip and operates at 13.56MHz HF under the ISO/IEC 15693 air-interface standard. It is intended for compatible HF RFID systems requiring short-range identification, serialized asset tracking, tool management, equipment verification, and closed-loop industrial workflows on or near metallic surfaces.
Actual read performance depends on reader antenna design, output power, tag orientation, mounting position, metal surface size and shape, and the surrounding environment. Reading distances of more than approximately 2cm may be achievable with a suitable HF reader configuration. Because this model prioritizes minimum size and direct on-metal installation, the tag should be tested on the actual asset before deployment. Custom services include laser-engraved UID or serial numbers and pre-encoding.
