The 40mm ABS RFID Disc Tag with Center Hole is a compact reusable RFID tag designed for asset identification, equipment marking, security patrol checkpoints, facility inspection, and other applications requiring durable mechanical mounting. Its 40mm diameter, 4.5mm thickness, and central mounting hole provide a smaller installation footprint than larger disc tags while allowing secure attachment with screws, bolts, rivets, or other suitable fasteners. The ABS housing protects the internal RFID structure for indoor and semi-protected industrial use.
This product can be configured as either an NXP NTAG213 13.56MHz HF/NFC version or an HT4168 125kHz LF version, depending on the reader system and application. The NTAG213 version is suitable for compatible NFC-enabled smartphones and HF readers, while the HT4168 version is intended for compatible 125kHz LF identification, patrol, and proximity-reading systems. These are alternative RFID configurations rather than simultaneous dual-frequency operation.
Actual read distance depends on the selected RFID version, reader or mobile device, antenna configuration, mounting surface, tag orientation, and surrounding materials. The NTAG213 version may reach up to approximately 10cm with a suitable dedicated reader, while smartphone NFC interaction is normally closer. The HT4168 version is intended for short-range LF proximity reading and varies with the reader and antenna. An optional anti-metal structure can be specified for the HF version when installation on metal is required. Custom services include black or white housing, laser-engraved UID or serial numbers, logo marking, and project-specific RFID configuration.
