Product Description

The 30mm ABS RFID Disc Tag – Multi-Color is a compact reusable RFID tag designed for asset identification, equipment labeling, patrol checkpoints, access-related identification, and other applications requiring a small rigid RFID marker. Its 30mm diameter and slim 3mm thickness provide a low-profile installation format, while the smooth coin-style ABS housing is available in multiple colors for visual classification, project coding, or application-specific identification.

This product can be configured with NXP NTAG213, NXP ICODE SLIX, or HT4168 according to the required RFID system. NTAG213 is intended for 13.56MHz HF/NFC applications including compatible NFC-enabled mobile devices, ICODE SLIX is intended for compatible 13.56MHz ISO/IEC 15693 HF RFID systems, and HT4168 is used for compatible 125kHz LF proximity identification systems. These are alternative RFID configurations rather than simultaneous multi-frequency operation.

Actual read distance depends on the selected chip, reader output power, antenna configuration, tag orientation, mounting surface, and surrounding materials. ICODE SLIX can provide a longer HF reading distance with suitable dedicated readers, while NTAG213 is normally used for shorter-range HF/NFC interaction and HT4168 for short-range LF identification. Optional anti-metal isolation and adhesive backing can be specified when required by the installation. Custom services include multi-color housing, laser-engraved UID or logo, logo printing, RFID data encoding, and project-specific configuration.

Not Ideal For

Not ideal for long-range UHF inventory scanning, industrial laundry, high-temperature processes, or direct mounting on metal unless a suitable anti-metal configuration is specified.
